How buying Pro works, once it’s on sale.
Who sells Pro
Pro and packs are sold by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. When you buy, your contract for the payment is with Lemon Squeezy, under their terms, and they handle payment, receipts, tax and refunds. We, the makers of Matinee, provide the software and the key.
What you buy
A licence to use Pro 1 (or the pack you choose) in Matinee, on up to three computers for Pro 1, or six for Family. Each browser you use counts as one computer. Pro 1 covers everything added to Pro during version 1, for as long as you use it. It doesn't include a future Pro 2.
Your key
Lemon Squeezy emails you a key. Keep it: you paste it into Matinee on each computer. Don't share it beyond your own computers. Removing it from a computer frees that place.
Refunds
Thirty days, for any reason. See Refunds.
The free app
Everything you do in Matinee is free and stays free. Buying Pro never changes what the free app does.
If something goes wrong
Matinee keeps your library on your own computer, and backs it up for you. Keep your backups: we can't recover a library we never see.
